Tokyo Tower

Located on a regular city block in Minatoku Tokyo, the Tokyo Tower is a very interesting place to visit when you go to the capital city of Japan. Although modeled after the Eiffel Tower, the Tokyo Tower stands 13 meters taller and it is the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower. It was built as a symbol to represent Japan's rebirth as a major economic power. Completed in 1958 the tower serves as a tourist attraction as well as a broadcasting antenna (for television and radio). Within the tower you will find 2 observation decks, an aquarium, wax museum and many other things on the first floor. It is said that on nice days you can see Mount Fuji from the second observation deck.
